#OnWednesdayWeTalkIpsy

By now,  all of my Ipsy girls should have received your glam bags and have delved into your goodies like a kid in a candy store.

For those of you who are not Ipsy privy here is a break down of what an Ipsy Glam Bag is. For $10.00 a month, you subscribe to receive an Ipsy bag on http://www.Ipsy.com, after filling out a survey regarding your preference of products and areas of interests regarding the  products, specifically makeup, skincare, hair care and nail care.  Each month you get a new makeup bag with 5 sample or full sized items to try out.

It’s a fantastic way to try new products and discover companies you may not have been exposed to and a reason just to be girly and girl out trying products for just $10.00. LOL . Who can beat that? So far my sister converted me, I have recruited a fellow coworker and a younger sister. Honestly, you can beat the quality of products they send for the price.

This month’s May Ipsy bag is sooo cute! It’s like an homage to travel with all the world landmarks in white as a pattern. Mine as you saw above is pink but everyone does not get the same color or the same items which makes it fun to compare.

Inside my bag I received the following:

  • Slmissglambeauty Small Contour Brush #W07
  • Hikari Shimmer Bronzer
  • Smashbox X-Rated Mascara
  • Hanalei Lip Treatment
  • Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask in Strawberry & Yarrow

Let’s start with my favorites out of the group.

That bronzer though?! Ladies and fellas if that’s ya thing, this bronzer is LIFE! It gives my skin the most shimmery bronze glow that I totally did not exepect and totally am always trying to achieve! I had never heard of the company but I am pleasantly happy with my glam bag swag find and introduction to this company. See my glowy shimmer below.

Next up, the Smashbox X-Rated Mascara was also really good! This mascara is a volmizing formula and it did its job. I only used it once before my foray into lash extensions last week. Stay tuned for that post and see above photo’s mascara free lashes. 💁🏾 For those of you who are not lashes inclined (I’m brand new myself) this mascara is definetly has a distinct volumizing affect.

I use the Hanalei lip treatment often. I have a serious case of “The Chap” lmao aka super chapped lips that happen almost every other day! LOL. I know, I know, you must think I’m crazy. I am, but  it is a real thing that happens! LOL. Back to the matter at hand. I use this treatment petroleum after a homemade lip scrub of olive oil and sugar. It is very light weight; no tint, with a light fragrance. It leaves lips feeling moisturized without being weighed down and silky smooth after a lip scrub. Another product approved.

The Formula 10.0.6 Pores be Pure Mask is also a great product! It’s not your average mud mask, for one it is a a light tingy pink with a sweet smell of stawberries.  It definitely clears out the pores. I used it over a little steam before it dried, but I’m sure it works just as well with normal use.

Finally,  the Slmissglam Small Contour Brush I did not use only because I don’t wear or use contour makeup. Sorry I can’t review it for you.

Overall, the May haul in the glam bag was excellent! I cannot wait to receive June’s bag as seeing that pink envelope in my mailbox makes me a happy girl! 😀

See links below for the companies of the products I received in my Glam Bag.

Till next Ipsy Wednesday my loves ❤️

xoxo Nikki M.
